The avocado in the US is considered a savory item mostly used in guacamole and other Mexican preparations. In Asia the avocado is a fruit and is treated like such. I found this place where they take avocado, condensed milk and ice and combine them in a blender. The combination could not be simpler. The results were like a perfectly cooked crème brule but without all the fat. I liked it so much I ordered two. The next time your buying avocados for dinner think of eating them for dessert.
